These measures will save a significant amount of money.

The talks between the USA and Russia were very significant for the relationship between the two countries.

trivial adjective /ˈtrɪv.i.əl/ jelentéktelen, elhanyagolható

It's a fairly trivial offence.

It may seem trivial to you but it matters to me.

Sexual harassment in the workplace is not a trivial matter.

vital adjective /ˈvaɪ.təl/ létfontosságú; vidám, életteli

Tourism is vital to the country's economy.

The kidney plays a vital role/part in the removal of waste products from the blood.

It's absolutely vital that you follow the instructions exactly.

importantly adverb /ɪmˈpɔː.tənt.li/ jelentőségteljesen; fontoskodva

Most importantly, you must keep a record of everything you do.

Phrases and idioms:

make a (big) difference (sokat) számít, (nagy) jelentősége van

Exercise can make a big difference to your health.

make no difference/not make any difference nem számít (lényegtelen; nem változtat semmin)

You can ask him again if you like, but it won't make any difference - he'll still say no.

Morning or afternoon. It makes no difference to me.
